About the LGBT Forum

Hull LGBT Forum Ltd is a company limited by guarantee, reg. no. 5246975.  The organisation exists as a voice and representative body for Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual & Trans (LGBT) people within the community of Hull.

We are actively representing LGBT in many community issues such as hate crime reporting, sexual health research, Pride, LGBT history month, museums consultation, community cohesion, Hull Together, Citizens Day, the recruitment of Council Equalities Officers and the Gay Kitemark.

Representatives of the key agencies (e.g. Council, Police, Fire, etc.) regularly attend our meetings.

To truly represent LGBT in Hull we need your views and/or your involvement.  Please follow the link to membership to join, either as an active member attending meetings or just to add your voice through our mailing list.

PRIVACY

Many people, for a variety of very good reasons, do not wish to publicly identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual or trans.  When joining the forum mailing group there is an option to hide your details from other members.  At meetings there is no obligation to identify as L,G,B or T, although this prevents full membership.  Associate members have no voting rights.
